The Faculty of Mathematics and Economics offers students full access to the DAFNE company database, which can be used in particular as an information base for obtaining quantitative company data and as an address database. DAFNE is a database with detailed financial information on almost 1,000,000 German publishing companies.

The collected historical company reports contain Contact details, business activities (WZ codes and job description for non-academic staff), detailed balance sheets and profit and loss statements, financial ratios, micro-geographic keys, import and export ratios, managers, subsidiaries, shareholders, share prices, press articles, M&A data and house banks. In addition to standardised key figures, custom ratios can also be defined and displayed in the reports or used for research and analyses.

This research database is currently financed by the Academic Affairs Committee WiWi. However, access is open to all students at Ulm University and is regulated by separate access authorisations. To request authorisation, please contact Lukas Bauer.
