At the congress of the U.S. Orthopedic Research Society in Charlotte, Dr. V. Fischer and L. de Roy won two prestigious scientific awards.:

The Meniscus Podium Award was awarded to Luisa de Roy for her project „Meniscus tear gapping under physiological knee loading: considerations for postoperative rehabilitation”.
Dr. Verena Fischer received the ISFR Podium Award for her talk about „Mast cell-derived IL-6 is a critical mediator of posttraumatic inflammation and compromised fracture healing".
