In the area of Reporting and Statistics, plans are progressing to migrate the reporting portal from SAP to HISinOne. Together with the faculty team (FakU team), the kiz BI team is developing and implementing standard reports and innovative reports on students and examinations.
The Applications and Admissions team has successfully migrated the application and admissions process for higher semesters in dentistry to the new campus portal. The final procedures will be implemented in the current quarter so that the old system can be taken out of service as planned. This includes, for example, the application and admission procedure for the M.Ed. grammar schools. The first application process will be simplified and gradually optimised.
Work on converting Exam and Course Management to HISinOne is also progressing. The workshop on planning degree programme and exam management with HISinOne provided us with valuable insights for the further development of the relevant processes within the faculties and between the faculties and the Student Administration Office. The first test migrations of student performance data have yielded good results. We will continue to expand the test environment so that we can thoroughly test all challenges and processes associated with the migration of examination data. The workshop on planning course management will take place in November.
The teams responsible for introducing doctoral student management and research management with HISinOne are delighted to be able to resume software configuration and product development now that a specialist in this field is again on board. The Doctoral Student Management team will now work hard to get the doctoral student application live on the campus portal. The Research Management team will first work on the roll-out of the third-party funding notification in 2026. In addition, it is pushing ahead with planning for other aspects of research management (awards, patents, spin-offs, etc.).
