With this award, SÜDWESTMETALL- Baden Württemberg Association of the Metal and Electrical Industry honours particularly outstanding dissertations that are significant for the industrial working world and/or its socio-political framework conditions.
A board of trustees consisting of representatives from Südwestmetall and Ulm University decides on the recipients of the award at Ulm University.
