Exchange possibilities in the Department of Biology

On this web page we collected some information about the partner universities of the Department of Biology. We try to keep the information up to date and complete, but unfortunately we cannot guarantee this. Therefore it is your own responsibility to get all information..

General information about the Erasmus+ exchange programme or the bilateral and Baden-Württemberg exchange programmes are available on the web pages of the International Office. Besides the study abroad there is also the possibility of an internship abroad.

Some more advices:

- Most of the universities offer orientation weeks for exchange students before the semester starts. Therefore, please plan your arrival early enough.

- At some universities there are courses that only have pass/fail exams without grades. For the recognition at Ulm University you usually need a grade. Therefore please find out if it is possible to take a graded exam early enough. The lecturers often offer an oral exam instead.

- The Erasmus+ agreements between the universities are done for certain study programmes (e.g. Bachelor Biochemistry). Sometimes it is also possible to take offers from other study programmes. However, this has to be approved by the respective coordinator of the partner university. If you want to chose courses from several study programmes, it is your own responsibility to check if there might be overlaps between the courses.
