Information about the winter semester 2021/2022

Dear students in the life sciences,

the winter semester 2021/2022 has the motto: "Back on campus". However, due to the ongoing pandemic situation, we are unfortunately not yet able to return to full attendance mode. Due to the current regulation, we only have limited space available for our courses. Therefore, we will continue to offer events as an online option. However, we are pleased that some smaller courses as well as the practical courses and many exercises can already take place in presence again. So you can expect a mixture of online and face-to-face teaching. You can find more detailed information about the modalities in the individual courses in the list of courses below.

On this page we have collected some more information for you. Please read them carefully. Please also refer to the circular email from the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Ms. Pollatos, dated August 13, 2021, which contains more detailed information on the basic course schedule for the winter semester.

Please check these pages regularly for the latest changes and make sure you are subscribed to the appropriate mailing list for your program - this will allow us to provide you with timely updates.

If you are experiencing difficulties in your studies (of any kind!) due to the current situation, please do not hesitate to contact us, we are always here for you! Further counseling services can be found at the Central Student Counseling Center and at the Psychosocial Counseling Center.

Stay healthy and confident!

Teaching in winter term 2021/2022 (as of 22.09.2021)

Here you will find an overview of the courses in WiSe. Some events are coordinated by other departments, here we ask you to check the corresponding pages for changes.

Please make sure that you are registered in the Moodle courses of all events you would like to attend in the winter semester. Some Moodle courses are still in progress and therefore not yet visible to you. Please try again to enroll in these courses at a later date.
More Moodle courses will follow and you will be enrolled in more Moodle courses by lecturers. Please check these pages and Moodle regularly for updates and additional courses.

Please note with the schedules that we also have reserved dates in the schedule for events that run asynchronously online. Some lecturers would like to offer synchronous Q&A sessions that take place on these dates. For more information, please refer to the respective Moodle courses.
