„SYNTHESIS – MATERIALS – ENERGY: From molecules to organic solar cells" was the title of the 10th Siegfried Hünig lecture, which was given by the laureate Prof. Peter Bäuerle on June 23rd 2022, at the University of Würzburg in the frame of a ceremony with large audience. Topic was the selective synthesis of molecules on the basis of oligothiophenes, which feature tailored electronic properties and can be applied as dyes and semiconductors in organic solar cells.
