Novel fused S,N-heterotetracenes were synthesized and developed by application of various synthetic methods. The systematically varied structures allowed for investigation of the influence of the number and position of sulfur and nitrogen atoms on physical and electronic properties. The results are described in our recent publication in Beilstein J. Org. Chem. 2020, 16, 2636-2644 with the title „Synthesis and characterization of S,N-heterotetracenes”.
