Nikol Figalová

Nikol Figalová studied psychology at the Palacký University Olomouc. After her graduation in 2019, she conducted an internship in the area of applied social cognition, followed by an internship at the Voice, Affect and Speech Laboratory (both at the Department of Psychology, University of Lisbon). Since May 2020, she works as a Marie-Sklodowska Curie Early Stage Research within an ITN Horizon2020 project SHAPE-IT. She studies the interaction between a driver and an automated vehicle. Her goal is to improve the understanding of cognitive mechanisms underlying this interaction. She conducts EEG and ERP experiments in both driving simulator and real-world setting. Her position is funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 programme under the Marie-Sklodowska Curie grant agreement 860410.
