Laboratory Deep Learning for Autonomous Driving (Praktikum)

Available for master students.

The course will be conducted in English.

Objectives

The aim of the course is to acquire practical knowledge on deep learning for autonomous driving. The students will understand how reinforcement learning, deep learning and machine learning techniques can be employed for designing autonomous driving modules. In the lab projects, different modules will be implemented. The overall goal is to build, evaluate and present autonomous driving modules.

Participation

Background on machine learning, deep learning and programming is essential.

Participation to the course requires attendance to the preliminary meeting.

  • 22.07.2019: There will be a preliminary meeting at the end of August. The exact date will be announced soon.
  • 29.07.2019: The Preliminary Meeting will take place on August 20 at 10:30am, at Besprechungsraum MRM (41.2.226). If you cannot participate on the meeting, please send me a motivation letter, explaining why you would like to joint the course.
