Computational Psychology (Seminar for Cognitive Systems)

First meeting: 2018-04-17 at 14:15 in O27/122.

The seminar is a platform to learn about current research in the field of computational psychology. The students choose an individual topic (typically accompanied by at least one research paper as a starting point). They perform a literature research and write a report on the topic. At the end of the semester, the topics are presented and discussed by all participants of the seminar.

The seminar deals with advanced topics in the field of Computational Psychology. Many topics are based on the Cambridge Handbook of Computational Psychology [1].

For instance, the topics of multi-tasking, human deductive or inductive reasoning or models of decision making are covered.
