The interdisciplinary Graduate Training Group PULMOSENS – Micro- and Nanoscaled Sensors for Lung Research – funded by the “Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft” continuously screens applications from highly qualified and motivated individuals for a
to commence as soon as possible. The position is temporary with a planned duration of 2 years.
The research training group PULMOSENS is led by principal investigators in engineering, natural and medical sciences, and focuses on innovating sensory methods and their application to the functional examination of the lung epithelium as well as interdisciplinary education of graduate students.
Successful candidates for the postdoctoral position are expected to conduct interdisciplinary research in one of the following disciplines:
- Natural Sciences (Chemistry, Physics)
- Electronic and Material Engineering Sciences
- Life Sciences
The interdisciplinary research should preferably be conducted in one of the following topics:
- Multimodal SICM/SECM platform
- Breath gas analysis system
- Multimodal sensing for organ-on-a-chip systems
The successful candidate holds a PhD in one of the mentioned fields with a related scientific background. Further scientific working experience is a plus. The accepted candidate will receive a funded postdoc position and benefit from a large number of additional research and educational activities.
Remuneration is in accordance with TV-L E 13 salary scale.
