Catalysis Winter Semester Course 2019/2020

The graduate study course on  “Catalysis: Fundamental Aspects and Common Principles” is offered each winter semester. The semester 2019/2020 is no exception.

The course is traditionally designed for PhD students in chemistry who want to strengthen their knowledge in modern catalysis and related subjects.

Organization of the course

The course is offered in two sessions, Session I will be held from 09. to 12.12.2019 in Wissenschaftszentrum der Universität Ulm in Schloss Reisensburg in Günzburg nearby Ulm. The first part of the course will be followed by Session II from 29.02. to 04.03.2020 in the DAV Haus in Obertauern/Austria.

The course will be ended with the final exam: 

25.03.2020 in Ulm (Uni Ulm, lecture hall H16, 10.00-16:00h)

    How to get to the university?

    From the Ulm railway station get on bus number 3 at the bus stop across the street. The direction is Wissenschaftsstadt/Universität.

    Get out at the bus stop Universität Süd (Mensa = cafeteria and the lecture hall H16).

    How to get to Obertauern

    Coming from North

    From Munich direction Salzburg over highway A8, from junction Salzburg further over highway A10 direction Villach/Graz until exit Radstadt. Continue on the federal road B99 until Obertauern.

    Comming from South

    From Villach going over A10 Tauernhighway to Exit 104 - Mautstelle St. Michael, continue to Mauterndorf and further to Obertauern.

    The DAV-Haus (see sketch) is situated on the right hand side (comming from North) in Obertauern shortly after pass level.
