Appointment to the University of Luxembourg

Prof. Dr. Martin Theobald has been appointed to a professorship at the University of  Luxembourg and is leaving Ulm University on the 1st of February 2017.

Martin Theobald completed his doctorate at Saarland University in 2006 and spent the following two years as a post-doc at Stanford Infolab, USA. Afterwards, he worked as a senior researcher at the Max-Planck-Institut for Informatics in Saarbrücken before he was appointed to the University of Antwerpen in 2012 and subsequently Ulm University in 2015. At Ulm University, Prof. Theobald was  assistant director at the Institute of Databases and Information Systems.
