This includes a wide variety of topics, starting from fundamental perceptions and actions to attention, consciousness, memory, and learning, ranging to language, emotions, motivation, and volition. Usually, these cognitive functions are investigated experimentally, therefore also the terms Cognitive Psychology and Experimental Psychology are used.
