Patricia Alonso Ruiz

I am a postdoc at the Stochastics department of Ulm University. Currently I am working on a project funded by the German BMFB on the analysis of low-dimensional structures with E. Spodarev. We study limit theorems for random fields in the spatial statistical setting and use them to test properties of materials. I am also collaborating with A. Rakitko on problems concerning exchangeable random variables.

I did my PhD in analysis on fractals and also have some on-going projects related to them. In particular, I am interested in existence and spectral properties of the Laplacian on metric spaces, resistance and Dirichlet forms.
