Experimental Psychology
In the field of Experimental Psychology, mechanisms and functions that are common to all are investigated. This includes a wide variety of topics, starting from fundamental perceptions and actions to attention, consciousness, memory, and learning, ranging to language, emotions, motivation, and volition. Usually, these cognitive functions are investigated experimentally, therefore also the terms Cognitive Psychology and Experimental Psychology are used.
