Due to the special nature of the course, the specific timetable will be announced in the first lecture.

The introductory event will take place in the first week of the semester with binding registration and allocation of places on Tuesday, 14 October.

A simulation is used to model a market situation in which each group consisting of four players takes over the management board of a company and competes with the other groups. The common controlling instruments are to be applied in a practical context. Recommended previous knowledge from "Fundamentals of Controlling" or comparable courses is assumed.

The number of participants is limited to 24 for system-related reasons. Participation is in groups of four. Preliminary registration is possible in groups of 4 persons (preferred) or 2 persons each. All registrations will be accepted between 1 and 14 October by e-mail to carolin.boeckers(at)uni-ulm.de.

Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis after valid registrations for groups of four or two have been received. Any remaining places can then be filled with individual registrations. It is therefore advisable to look for interested fellow participants for a group in advance.
