Project Meeting in Marseille February 2026
In February 2026, our project team gathered for a joint meeting in Marseille. We were glad that all partner institutions were represented, with participants joining either on-site or online. Unfortunately, a few colleagues could not attend in person due to scheduling conflicts or health reasons and therefore took part virtually.
The meeting provided a great opportunity to reflect on the Summer School 2025 in the Bavarian Forest, Šumava National park and České Budějovice. Together, we reviewed the results, exchanged feedback, and discussed key experiences and lessons learned. These reflections are already informing the planning of future activities.
A central part of the meeting was dedicated to organizing the upcoming Summer School 2026, which is planned to take place in Ulm, the Swabian Alps Biosphere Reserve, and nearby regions. We shared initial ideas and concepts, setting the stage for what we expect to be another engaging and rewarding experience for everyone involved.
