On 21 January 2016, students of the "Adaptation and Diversity in Tropical Ecosystems" course had the opportunity to explore the Botanical Garden in Munich. During an expert guided tour through the greenhouses, they learnt exciting facts about the habitats of tropical plants. A special highlight was the visit to the herbarium. The students were given a rare insight into the scientific collection of dried plants and their importance for research and history.
