Your personal data (title, surname, first name, date of birth, e-mail address and private address) are required to create an alumni account, as we check whether you are actually studying/working or have studied/worked at Ulm University. The other information is voluntary information for the transfer of topic-related information. Your data will only be stored and processed by the alumni office of Ulm University and used for further contact and for the exchange of information within the framework of the alumni program of Ulm University. Your data will be stored until you end your alumni membership. You can revoke your consent to receive the newsletter at any time, independently of your alumni membership, by unsubscribing from the newsletter. This does not affect the legality of processing based on consent until revocation.

Recipients of your data
In order to register your registration and membership with Alumni and to send the online newsletter, your data will be processed by the authorized persons of the following offices:
1) Alumni office for receiving the newsletter and other information that may be of interest to you, such as event information, subject-specific surveys.
2) Communication and information center (KIZ) for the creation of a digital identity in a central identity management (IDM) in order to centrally manage the creation and maintenance of accounts.

We transmit the personal data "Title, first name, surname, email address and language" to our service provider Sendinblue GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin in order to ensure that the information is sent to you properly. Sendinblue is a service with which the online newsletter dispatch can be organized and analyzed (number of openings and clicks). All necessary technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data from misuse are taken by us and by Sendinblue on our behalf.
