Visual Computing Group

The Visual Computing Group, which is headed by Timo Ropinski, works on the intersection of data visualization, computer graphics and machine learning. Our research targets the generation, processing, and analysis of digital images and 3D data, whereby interactivity often plays a crucial role.

We apply our work often in biomedicine, among other through our involvement in the XAIRAD initiative, but also target other areas such as education and entertainment.
