Under the DAAD grant program, Ulm University hosted representatives from the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University: Anna Honcharuk, Liudmyla Poliakova, and Oleksandr Leonov. The primary goal of the visit was to coordinate scientific cooperation and develop an organizational plan for a student Summer School scheduled for 2026.
During their stay, the scholars presented their research findings:
Anna Goncharuk delivered a report on “Implicit linear difference equation over a non-Archimedean ring.”
Lyudmyla Polyakova and Alexander Leonov presented results in the field of "Graph-based data analysis."
The program also included working meetings with colleagues from Ulm University and consultations with Karazin University students currently enrolled in the double degree program in Ulm. These sessions facilitated the synchronization of research agendas and laid the foundation for further integration of research groups between the two institutions.
