Entrepreneurs Campus as part in a large ecosystem

A river begins somewhere - its source is small and full of energy. It finds its way and becomes bigger and bigger, more and more self-confident. The Entrepreneurs Campus is the breeding ground and the small tributaries of this source. We accompany the absolute early stages of Deep Techs. Together we consider which sparring partners are conducive to the start-up project. There are so many issues here besides domain expertise: Team design, patent strategy, sales strategy or further financing options. We are very proud of our network. The Entrepreneurs Campus is connected on different levels: internally within the university, into the regional ecosystem and to sparring partners in the industry. We welcome more networking opportunities! Reach out to us and become part of our ecosystem.

We have a long-standing relationship with the Ulm Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in particular with Michael Reichert. In the video, he explains why cooperation and interlinking of science and industry is so essential. Together with the Ulm Chamber of Commerce and Industry, we have organized and implemented formats such as the Gründergarage and Levelup in the StartupSÜD project. StartupSÜD is the joint project of the regional universities of Biberach, Neu-Ulm, the Ulm University and the Ulm University of Technology, which aims to make it more attractive to start up a business from university and to identify groundbreaking ideas at an early stage.

Innovative start-ups have already been accompanied and supported by UUlm in the past in the individual phases of their start-up project, which is why reference can be made to over 40 start-up projects, of which 29 spin-offs (> 900 full-time positions) have successfully established themselves on the market. This success is also due to the university's stable and effective partnerships and cooperations. One example is the Society for Start-ups at Ulm Universities (Gründerverbund Ulm), which emerged as early as 1998 from a cooperation between UUlm, THU and IHK-Ulm. With regard to the provision of infrastructure, the position of UUlm as a shareholder of TFU GmbH (Gründerzentrum), which offers premises and support for young entrepreneurs at three locations, should be emphasized.
