Dear colleagues,

It is our pleasure to invite you to participate in the International Workshop on Spoken Dialog Systems (IWSDS) 2015, special theme of Dialog System and Intelligent Assistant.

Following the success of IWSDS 2009 (Irsee, Germany), IWSDS 2010 (Gotemba Kogen Resort, Japan), IWSDS 2011 (Granada, Spain), IWSDS 2012 (Paris, France), and IWSDS 2014 (Napa, USA), the Sixth International Workshop on Spoken Dialog System (IWSDS 2015) will be held in Busan, South Korea, on Jan 11-13, 2015.

The IWSDS workshop series provide an international forum for the presentation of research and application, and for lively discussion among researchers as well as industrialists, with a special interest to the practical implementation of Spoken Dialog Systems in everyday applications. IWSDS 2015 designates “Dialog System and Intelligent Assistant” as a theme of discussion.

We welcome you to the workshop and hope that you enjoy the workshop as well as beautiful scenery of Busan Haeundae Beach.
