Tamara Hutflies M.Sc.
Since October 2025, Tamara Hutflies has been employed as a research associate in the department. She completed both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy (KliPP) at Ulm University and obtained her license as a psychotherapist in September 2025 under the new Psychotherapists Act.
Her primary research interests focus on the etiology, diagnosis, and treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in military personnel. She has gained substantial practical experience at, among others, the Bundeswehr Hospital Ulm, the Psychotherapeutic Outpatient Clinic of Ulm University, and the District Hospital Günzburg.
In collaboration with Ulm University as well as the Bundeswehr Hospitals in Ulm and Berlin, she published a paper in 2025 entitled „Moral Injury: Ursachen, Symptome und therapeutischer Umgang mit moralischen Verletzungen bei militärischen Einsatzkräften“
