We are pleased to announce that our paper "EditQL: A query language for evolving models" has been published in the Journal of Software and Systems Modelling.

The paper describes the requirements and design of a textual query language, EditQL, to inspect a model and its evolution within operation-based versioning systems.
A usability study conducted with an implementation of EditQL into an existing modeling tool showed that the query language is both usable and suitable for its task.
 

This paper has been a cooperation between Benedikt Jutz and Erik Burger of the DSiS group, and Jakob Pietron and Alexander Raschke of Ulm University.
