We are delighted to announce that the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - German Research Foundation has decided to fund our project proposal “Inferring Implicit Assumptions in Data Science Code”.

The project tackles a widespread problem: many R scripts fail to run or reproduce because they rely on implicit assumptions about package versions, script dependencies, or data structure. Building on flowR, we will infer these assumptions through static analysis and partial execution, make them explicit through instrumented checks, and relax overly strict ones to enable valid reuse. See the project page for more details.

A big thanks to Florian Sihler, the driving force behind this proposal!
