Kick-off Meeting of FOR 2969 in Heidelberg with a keynote lecure, Yukio Ando, President of the International Society of Amyloidosis (ISA).

The German Research Council (Deutsche Forschungemeinschaft) will fund a nationwide Research Unit (FOR 2969) to investigate the mechanisms of protein misfolding systemic AL amyloidosis (speaker Marcus Fändrich). Partners of the consortium will come from Munich, Heidelberg, Erlangen and Kiel.
