My Research Interests

The focus of my research is on signal processing and modelling methods and their application to (bio)-physical systems. As signal processing is a broad topic I’m especially interested in sparse-coding, low-rank problems and compression on real-world signals. An essential part of this work involves finding efficient algorithms to solve the arising high-dimensional, noisy and incomplete optimization problems. More recently I am trying to use machine-learning methods and BigData technologies for the above mentioned problems.
