We Change our Student Administration System - Portal Closure

Please note the restricted services in the period from 23 April to 7 May 2024!

Ulm University is gradually converting its campus management system to HISinOne. Some of you are already familiar with our new portal for the admission and enrollment process. In a second step, we will transfer the student administration system to HISinOne STU. In order to ensure the transfer of all student and degree program data from the old to the new system, no data movements may take place in the source system or the target system during the entire course of the STU go-live.

This Means

  • Preparation of the migration and configuration of the system.
23 April to 7 May 2024
  • Migration of student data - no changes possible in the old/new campus portal
From 8 May 2024
  • Launch of student administration services in the new Campusportal 
  • Self services for applicants, students and examiners available again
  • Stabilization and adjustments.

Which User Groups are Affected and how? 

Group What does not work? What works?
Prospective Students
  • Applications in our new Campusportal cannot be created, edited or submitted.
  • Applications via the uni-assist online portal for applicants with foreign higher education qualifications can still be created, edited or submitted.
Students
  • Study certificates and certificates of previous study and examination achievements (ToR) cannot be downloaded.
  • Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes: It is not possible to register for examinations and previous achievements. Registrations must be made by 21.04.2024 at the latest. Examinations that take place by 22.04.2024 are not affected by this.
  • Any exam deregistrations in the Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes can be made by e-mail to studiensekretariat(at)uni-ulm.de, taking into account the applicable deadlines, and stating the exact name of the exam, date of the exam and exam number.
  • Medicine/Dentistry: Registrations for and withdrawals from examinations are possible.
  • Registration for Bachelor's and Master's theses is possible.
  • The course catalog is available.
  • The interface to Moodle works.
  • Timetables and study programme plans can be displayed and printed.
Examiners
  • From 23.04.2024, examination participant lists cannot be generated.
  • From 23.04.2024, examination results cannot be entered into the system.
  • Processing of course and event data.
  • Lecture room search, room management, booking request.
  • Interface to Moodle.
  • Registration for Bachelor's and Master's theses.
Admission committees
  • Applications in the new campus portal cannot be processed.
