The Aldan2 cluster currently consists of 5 nodes, all of them are 6 - Dual P4 (1800 MHz) computers, 512MB, 20GB HDD. This gives total of 12 CPU's. Nodes are connected with Fast Ethernet(1000baseT equipment). Cluster nodes are running under RedHat Linux 9.0 Main computer acts as a file server and firewall and is based on P4 (1800 MHz), 512MB, 2x40GB HDD RAID. Tasks are managed by SGE 5.3 (Sun Grid Engine).
