Molecular Donor-Acceptor Dyads for Single-Material Organic Solar Cells

In this additional publication on individually synthesized molecular donor-acceptor-dyads, we report important structure-property-relationships for their application in solution-processed single-material organic solar cells (SMOSC). Systematic modification of single molecule parts resulted in power conversion efficiencies of up to 4.6%, which is the third best result ever achieved for SMOSCs.
