General discussion of major issues with all participants.
Identification of technical problems and brainstorming session about possible solutions.
Videoconferencing.
Overview of key protocols.

18. Sept. Breakout meetings on specific topics.
Writing up protocols; review paper on hydraulic techniques.
Short report to the entire group from breakout groups.
Synthesis and evaluation of protocols.
5pm Guided tour through Ulm and subsequent (7pm) dinner in the Ratskeller (at your own cost)

19. Sept. Breakout meetings on specific topics.
Writing up protocols; review paper on hydraulic techniques.
General discussion; plans for future collaborations and grant applications. End of the workshop. Optional excursion to Blaubeuren: train ride at 4pm (approx. 6 Euros) subsequent sightseeing and then dinner at the Hotel Ochsen (at your own cost) trains back leave at 9:30pm or 10:30pm
