LBBW Trading Room

In September 2005, the Department of Financial Mathematics opened the new LBBW trading room. Using six connected terminals, students have the opportunity to get used to real time trading. Trading is taught based on the software 'Risk Manager Trading Simulation' that allows students to trade different classes of assets (equities, bonds, options, ...) in different realistic scenarios. Another feature of our trading room is the connection to Bloomberg's business database, providing students with both, real time data and historical time series.
