M.Sc. Lynn Matits

Lynn Matits studied psychology at the University of Ulm. In her master’s thesis, she investigated the effects of hypnosis on depressive mood and inflammatory activity in individuals experiencing chronic stress. For this work, she was awarded the Master's Thesis Prize of the Clemens Gabriel Foundation.
From July 2021 to May 2025, she was involved in several research projects at the Department of Sports Medicine at Ulm University Hospital. Since June 2025, she works as a research associate in the Department of Clinical & Biological Psychology at the University of Ulm.
Lynn Matits is pursuing her PhD at the Chair of Clinical & Biological Psychology at the University of Ulm. Her research focuses on the immunological and energy-metabolic correlates of depressive symptoms and cognitive impairments following COVID-19. 
Since April 2024, she has been a doctoral fellow of the German Academic Scholarship Foundation (Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes).
