On Saturday, 29 November 2025, this year's seminar event of the Institute of Accounting and Auditing at Ulm University took place at Villa Eberhardt. In three consecutive sessions, 17 students presented their seminar papers on highly topical issues. The topics covered included artificial intelligence in auditing, accounting for crypto-assets, key figure analyses, EU taxonomy and sustainability auditing.
The presentations were followed by lively discussions with the seminar supervisors and practitioners from the auditing firm Deloitte. The students gained valuable insights into the practical implementation of the topics covered and current developments in the industry. A subsequent lecture by Deloitte and a joint lunch provided additional opportunities to discuss internships, career entry opportunities and career paths in auditing.
