How to find us:

Please note

On Monday Ulm is celebrating its annual local holiday (Monday 22/July/2024) called "Schwörmontag" (Oath Monday). If you arrive already on Saturday and spend the weekend in Ulm don’t miss highlights like the Serenade of Lights, and of course “Nabada”, which takes place on Monday and is a crazy event at the Danube river.

Travel

Closest airports are Stuttgart (STR), Munich (MUC) and Frankfurt am Main (FRA). From Frankfurt Airport there are direct fast trains (ICE) to Ulm Main station. Train connections are about 1.5h for Stuttgart or 2-3h for Munich and Frankfurt. Ulm can be easily reached by train within Europe - main stop for ICE trains.

Find more information on night trains on https://www.night-trains.com/europe  and book tickets on https://www.bahn.com/en or https://www.thetrainline.com/ (also offers bus tickets).

To get around in Ulm public transport is very convenient - tram line 2 is the fastest  link from the city centre to the conference venue at Ulm University. The cheapest option when traveling daily is a weekly pass which you can buy at the ticket machines or on https://www.ding.eu/ (only available in German).

Accommodation

Tourismus Ulm pre-reserved hotel rooms for participants of ESEAC2024, which can be booked via the reservation form. Fillied out forms should be sent to reservierung(at)tourismus.ulm.de. Please check the hotel location on a map before booking – we recommend a hotel in walking distance to a stop of the tram line (line 2) or Bus no. 5, these are the fastest and most convenient way to reach Ulm University (stop: Universität Süd or Botanical Garden).

Feel free to also check for hotel or apartment rooms on common booking platforms.
