First Virtual Career Day

We successfully completed the 1st Virtual Career Day of the IntASEK project on November 22nd, 2018.

Dr. Carsten Roller from vbio, Germany’s largest association for life sciences, gave an interesting talk about the job market and career perspectives in the Life Sciences in Europe.

Two former PhD students of Ulm University, namely Dr. Norbert Gäng and Dr. Grégoire Hummel, started their own businesses Balena and Phenospex that they presented during the Virtual Career Day.

Dr. Zuzana Urbanová from the University of South Bohemia introduced the new project LIFE for MIRES. The main objectives of this project are the restoration of mires and wetlands, the restoration of landscape hydrology for better water retention and the improvement of natural habitats.

We thank all participants for their attendance!
