Dr. Miriam Tschaffon from the Institute of Orthopaedic Research and Biomechanics received a New Investigator Award at the European Calcified Tissue Society (ECTS) Annual Meeting 2022 for her work entitled "Chronic psychosocial stress disturbs endochondral ossification during bone growth and fracture healing via catecholamines locally produced by myeloid cells".
Lena Steppe from the same research group received a Travel Award for her work "Estrogen receptor α (ERα) signaling in osteoblasts is crucial for mechanotransduction in bone fracture healing".
