Education in seniority

At the center of our work is the question of how people in the third and fourth ages can form and learn. This is reflected in the development and implementation of our educational offerings and in our practice-oriented research projects.

Geragogy refers to the discipline of education and learning in old age; We see these as an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary discipline between educational sciences, especially adult education, gerontology and aging research, social work, sociology and other social science subjects.

As such, we are responsible for research and teaching in geragogy and research learning.

In addition, we offer qualification offers such as the current webinar series "Education in Old Age" or the 2nd Ulm Taster Day "How education can succeed in old age?" together with cooperation partners.
