Robert Heinrich accepted an offer of the W3 professorship for Software Engineering at Institute of Software Engineering and Programming Languages starting in April 2025. Robert Heinrich received a doctoral degree from Heidelberg University and a habilitation from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
His research interests include modeling and analyzing software-intensive systems, for example from production and mobility, for various quality properties, such as security, performance and maintainability, to support evolution and adaptation.
Robert Heinrich heads the Quality-driven System Evolution research group. His group investigates the architecture-based modelling and analysis of software-intensive systems as well as the interplay of architectural design and implementation to analyze quality properties throughout the entire system life-cycle.
