The University of Ulm is easy to reach by public transportation. From Ulm main station, go with tram line 2 (direction "Science Park II") to the Universität Süd stop. During the day, the tram runs every 5 to 10 minutes.

A day ticket for Ulm's public transportation costs as much as two single trips. There are also group day tickets (up to five people, valid from 8:30 am). Tickets can be purchased at a ticket machine or on the buses and trams.
