19.10.2017: Guest lecture "Towards Developing an Integrated Framework to Predict Subject Specific Spine Biomechanics“

Universität Ulm

Guest lecturer: Dr. Paige Little

Date: 19.10.2017, 11:00 a.m.
Location: Institute of Orthopaedic Research and Biomechanics
Helmholtzstraße 14

Dr. Little is a Mechanical Engineer and is a Senior Research Fellow with the Biomechanics and Spine Research Group at Queensland University of Technology, in Brisbane. Her research focusses on developing new computational and simulation approaches to improve understanding of the biomechanics of the spine, particularly the adolescent deformed spine. An important part of her work is discovering how best to translate these technologies into clinical practice. Her primary role within the Spine Group is to direct development of subject specific finite element modelling capabilities to simulate individual patient’s spinal anatomy and function.
