We organise the ‘Teaching Methods Lunch’ about twice a semester. This is a short exchange for all members of the University of Ulm on didactic topics relating to teaching. 
In a relaxed atmosphere – essentially during a (possibly extended) lunch break – you have the opportunity to exchange ideas with colleagues from various faculties, as well as staff from the Centre for Teaching Development, both in person and online.

These discussion sessions focus on current issues and topics relating to teaching. They often begin with a short presentation introducing teaching projects, formats and experiments. For example, many of the lecturers who are supported by the Ulm Teaching Incubators or who have been awarded the University Teaching Prize present their ideas and discuss them with the lecturers and members of the Centre for Teaching Development (ZLE) in attendance. You can find the key topics of current and past sessions in the corresponding Moodle course. It is especially the exchange between different disciplines and faculties that is often very fruitful for everyone involved.

Whether you’re joining us online or in person, please feel free to bring a lunch or snack and drinks of your choice. We’ll provide biscuits, coffee and tea on site.
