Danube-Networkers on Tour
The mobile exhibition "Danube-Networkers on Tour" was an accompanying event to the learning partnership "Danube-Stories", funded by the European Commission from August 2011 to July 2013, in which learning groups from 7 Danube countries (Germany, Austria, Hungary, Croatia, Romania and Romania) Bulgaria and as a silent partner Serbia).
The education network for active aging and intergenerational dialogue "Danube-Networkers" was presented through activities in the respective exhibition space, which were prepared, carried out and followed up by the partner groups in the project "Danube-Stories". On the basis of successful projects, it was demonstrated by those involved how older (and younger) people along the Danube / in the Danube region are working on thematic issues in real terms and via the Internet, thus accompanying the process of Danube strategy as a civil society initiative.
The exhibition was opened at the European Conference of the ZAWiW, University of Ulm "Active Aging and Intergenerational Learning" within the International Danube Festival Ulm / Neu-Ulm in July 2012 and then migrated from October 2012 to June 2013 along the Danube to Ruse, where By public events at various locations along the Danube (Ulm, Wilhering, / Linz, Vienna, Budapest, Belgrade, Vukovar, Timisoara, Ruse) a larger target audience could be achieved.
