Mowgli

Mowgli is a database management system (DBMS) evaluation framework for distributed DBMS operated in the Cloud. The Mowgli framework is developed by the OMI and uses  the Cloudiator framework internally. It simplifies comparable evaluations for any distributed DBMS with respect to the non-functional features  performance, scalability, elasticity and availability by

fully automating the evaluation process, including the allocation of cloud resources, deployment of the DBMS cluster, workload execution, DBMS runtime adaptations
automated processing of the selected performance, scalability, elasticity and availability metric processing
reproducible evaluations across multiple cloud providers

The Mowgli framework including is enhacements Kaa and King Louie has also been accepted as  tool of the Standard Performance Evaluation Corporation (SPEC) Research Group (RG), see https://research.spec.org/tools/overview.html
