Psychobiological Emotion Recognition
The aim of psychobiological emotion recognition is the individual and continuous recognition of emotions from psychobiological data (emotion patterns). The emotions of users of cognitive technical systems should be reliably localized in a three-dimensional space, classified and modelled on the basis of these psychobiological parameters. This information will be fused with other sources of emotions (semantic, prosody, and mimic), and should serve in other modules of the cognitive technical system, in order to adapt their functionality to the emotional state of the user. Since only few psychobiological patterns correlate with emotions in a general way, a novel calibration procedure with standardized emotional stimuli will be applied in order to individually assess the psychobiological emotion patterns for each user.
