Business Management and Digital Transformation

Companies are turning to AI, business analytics, and digital business models. But technology alone isn’t enough – it takes people who understand how to apply this technology effectively within an organisation and how companies can successfully shape and manage their digital transformation.

This is exactly where our new Business Management and Digital Transformation program comes in: You’ll gain solid business management skills and learn to analyse digital changes from a management perspective and implement them within the company – from strategy to project.

We are pleased to announce that, following formal approval by the Ministry of Science, Research and Arts Baden-Württemberg, we will be offering the new degree programme Business Management and Digital Transformation at Ulm University from the 2026/27 winter semester. Enrolment will then be open from July.

More about the course

In the Business Management and Digital Transformation programme, you’ll gain a broad foundation in business management and combine it with technological knowledge to effectively capitalise on the opportunities presented by digitalisation – not as an elective, but as a core component of your studies. In core courses such as Management of Digital Transformation or Business Analytics, you’ll work on real-world problems in interactive lectures. In addition, courses like Data Law and Digital Ethics ensure that you can understand digital changes not only from a technical perspective, but also from legal and societal ones.
