Start-Up Funding Programme of the Medical Faculty (Bausteinprogramm)

The goal of this program for young scientists (called Bausteinprogramm in German) is to help them start their own research projects that enable them to achieve the previous work and publications that are usually required to successfully attract third-party funding.

The application deadline for the funding period 2024/25 has passed.

The next call for the funding period 2025/26 is planned in autumn 2024. We will inform in time here on our homepage.

For an application for renewal (3.2V), please submit the following documents:

  • Application form - Baustein 3.2V
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • List of publications (max. 10)
  • List of third-party funds
  • Project outline for an application for external third-party funding as follow-up financing (the applicant has to submit the confirmation of the external third-party funding provider that the external third-party funding application has been submitted, no later than the official start of the Baustein funding period). If your application for third-party funding has already been approved, please enclose both the application and the letter of approval.

  • electronically as a combined PDF-document (application form including attachments) and as a Word-document (application form without attachments) by e-mail using the keyword Bausteine 2024/25 to forschung(at)
